a dear friend reminded me that i really stink at blogging. this is a fact to which i am not unaware. i kind of switched over to facebook for keeping up with people and well, i'm 27 weeks pregnant, so blogging is not on the top of my list.
in an effort to appease my friend's dismay regarding my lack of info, i will write but a little of the latest. as i mentioned we are 27 weeks along which means that emma jes should be arriving in june. i always get induced, so we're thinking it will be the week of june 15th sometime.
november we went to massachusetts to visit friends and so i could go to my 15 year high school reunion for the school from which i didn't graduate because of moving to nc 3 days before my senior year. we had a great time with my childhood friends from school and church.
december was good. christmas day we went out to ben's brother's place in nc and ben's mom and twin sister came out to visit.
january we went to Disney World!!! i'll figure out how to upload the photos from ben's files at some point.
february was great. natalie turned 8 and was baptised by her dad on valentine's day. ben's mom, aunt and uncle, brother, sister-in-law, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and my mom all came out for the event. it was a beautiful day in lots of ways. i'll find those pics too.
march is going well. ben turned 35 last weekend and he got a wii. our house has finally become a video game mess. neither ben nor i were allowed to have video games when we were kids, and so our kids haven't had them either. the wii was just too tempting. plus i'll be needing wii fit after sweet emma is here.
not much else besides giving birth is on the schedule for a while. ben's mom and my mom, and my dad will be here off and on over the summer to help me out and i'm already grateful. my dad pops in periodically and we love to visit with him.
that's about all. kind of boring with all this text, but "i'm doin' the work; i'm baby steppin' it". bonus points for you if you can name the movie that quote comes from?

Congratulations, Mel!!! I love the name you've picked for your little girl! And congrats to Ben on turning 35--Justin's hitting that landmark in August, and it's hard to believe. How awesome for Natalie! I'll bet she was so excited to be baptized! Christina will be baptized in May. I can't believe how our families just keep growing up without our permission!
