while my family was here in june we took a trip out to gatlinburg/ pigeon forge, tn. my dad found a great cabin in the mountains. the cousins had so much fun goofing around. i spent tons of time reading the second and third twilight series books. one of the days the men and i hiked to the top and back down of Mount LaConte in the great smoky mouhntains. It was a lot of work, and everybody had to wait for me, but it was so cool. I loved talking with my brother as we hiked up. My knees took quite a beating on the way down. For some reason I wanted to show everyone how fast we could get up and down. I don't suggest doing the 11.5 mile hike in under 4 hours. Great vacation, Grandpa!
