ironman

Steel has a summer birthday and so was able to share his birthday snack with the class on Wednesday, June 4th. We followed the Barrett tradition and included donuts with our grapes, pretzels, and dyed sugar water. Here he is goofing around with his friends. When the teacher asked him who he wanted to choose to sit at his table he chose vivien. I was so proud of him for picking his little sister and finally feeling comfortable enough to be himself at his new school. His buddies informed me that he is now known as "Ironman", which is the name his PE teacher gave him. At his last school his PE teacher called him "Superman" or "The Man of Steel". He seems to prefer "Ironman".
